Manufacture of Ball Bearings

Deep groove, or single row radial, ball bearings are the most widely used bearings. They utilize an uninterrupted raceway that makes them optimal for radial loads .This design permits precision tolerance, even at high-speed operation. As there is high degree of conformity between balls and raceways, the self-aligning capability of deep groove ball bearings is less, and therefore requires well aligned bearing mountings. These bearings can be located endwise in both directions.

Single row deep groove ball bearings, commonly known as 'popular metrics', are rigid non-separable radial bearings and are the most common bearings, used in a wide range of applications from agricultural equipment to printing machinery. It is widely used because it can operate at very high speeds due to its low torque and is cost-effective at an economical price. The cold-forged and miniature rivets are used in retainers of deep groove ball bearings as well as in an assortment of other electrical, engineering applications. The products presented are applauded for their resilience, meticulous engineering, and high compressive potency.

Our detailed purchasing methodology enables us to select quality vendors & subcontractors, conduct price negotiations, monitor the progress of order execution, coordinate subcontracting for various parts and provide rapid & accurate feedback regarding the status of production parts to ensure adherence to delivery schedule. As a Stainless Steel Components Manufacturer, we manufacture Axles, Rotor Shafts, Rivets and more parts of optimum quality. We have qualified engineers and advanced equipment with the expertise necessary for any stainless steel design need. These parts are used to create Stainless Precision Machined parts out of steel composition which remains in accordance with the global quality standards therefore as to ensure their practical and wide industrial applications.

Evolution of Machines in Industries

Machines have been amongst the greatest inventions of human beings. We have machine that can perform the simplest task and at the same time we have machines performing the most complex tasks for us.  A machine comprises of various small and big components. These components can be generic or specific. Specific components are manufactured on demand and are not so easy to be found. Talking of generic components, they can easily be found and are manufactured on a large scale. If one gives a closer look to things around us, generic components can be easily found. Spindles, plungers also belong to the same categorization. Without a spindle the gate hinges are useless

The cold-forged and miniature rivets are used in retainers of deep groove ball bearings as well as in an assortment of other electrical, engineering applications. The products presented are applauded for their resilience, meticulous engineering and high compressive potency. One distinctive feature is that the shape can be customized according to customers’ specifications. Stainless-steel, copper, brass, steel and aluminum are generally used as the raw materials. Depending on the application of products, components can be Ground, Polished, Super-finished, Passivated or Electroplated in their surface finish.  These are fittingly backed by highly accurate tool room and measuring and testing amenities in order to austerely preserve customer's specifications.

Pioneers of miniature mechanical parts like brass turned components; Usha Precision delivers products comparable to international standards. When it comes to stainless steel components, this company is one of the best manufacturers. Their range of products comprises axles, spindles, pistons, stainless steel dowel pins, shafts, and the likewise. With an experience of more than two decades, Usha Precision has spread its brilliance over forty countries. The contemporary rate of production is nearly 2.5 million machined pins and more than twenty million rivets each day. The statistics are impressive and manufacturing is exercised under strict ISO quality norms, to ensure the end delivered products are top-notch.

Steel Pins- An Overview

A pin is a piece of equipment or instrument used for binding objects or materials together. Pins frequently have two components comprising a long body and sharp tip made of steel, or sometimes copper and brass, and a larger head often made of plastic. The sharpened body penetrates the material while the larger head provides a driving surface. Pins are formed with the help of a thin wire, sharpening the tip, and adding a head. Nails that are used for hammering objects are interrelated but are characteristically larger in their size. In the field of machinery and engineering, pins are normally used as pivots, hinges, shafts, jigs, and fixtures to locate or hold parts.

We at Usha Precision are known to be a one of the most competent companies for stainless steel dowel pins, rivets and also, as steel pin manufacturers. These steel pins are thin, hardened pins and can be driven into wood with a hammer and can be concealed. A different style of pin, fairly thicker in size and with rounded tip commonly called a stylus is used with gramophones. The vibration of this stylus transforms the physical waves of the groove in a record to the movement of a membrane. In this way the sound recorded can be heard. Precision turned parts and pins are used in engineering and machine design. In this, a pin is a machine element that secures the position of two or more parts of a machine relative to each other. A large variety of types has been known for a long time; the most commonly used are solid cylindrical pins, solid tapered pins, groove pins, slotted spring pins and spirally coiled spring pins.

The World of Tools

In the world of machinery, there are multitudinous parts, fixtures and other assembling parts. Usha precision is a pioneer in developing such parts and is one of the most efficient precision turned parts manufacturers and also renowned as stainless steel components manufacturers.  Their range of products has almost everything, from stainless steel dowel pins and shafts to axels and stepped rivets.

Dowel pins are shortened lengths of full-sized dowels. They are usually of hard wood.  They may
undergo a secondary operation, such as planing or grooving if it is needed. Metal dowel pins undergo a casting process. The materials that are commonly used for metal dowel pins manufacture include aluminum for its lightness, ductility, conductivity. Brass is also used as it is strong, ductile, conductive, and resistant to corrosion. Also, stainless steel is also extensively used as it has a high pressure rating, and is chemical and corrosion resistant. Plastic dowels are formed via plastic injection molding.

After deciding the material for the dowel pins, the sizing is done. Most dowels produced are of the straight dowel variety. There are a limited number of dowel pin types.  Locating pins, cotter pins, and spring pins.

Dowels are used in numerous and diverse applications including as axles in toys, detents, structural reinforcements in cabinet making, and also as supports for tiered cakes. Other varied uses include furniture shelf supports, moveable game pieces or pegs. They are also used as supports for hanging items such as clothing, key rings, tools and the like.

All about Rivets

Permanent mechanical fasteners are known as rivets. Solid metal rivets consist of cylindrical shafts with heads in one end. The opposite end is called the tail. Rivets are a great option to support tension loads and work most effectively for shear loads. Bolts and screws, on the other hand, are better for tension applications. The traditional fastenings used in wooden boat building were generally copper nails and cinch bolts which have functions and principles similar to that of a rivet. They are therefore classified among nails and bolts correspondingly.
There are varied types of rivets such as the round head rivets, high-strength structural steel rivets, semi-tubular rivets, blind rivets, and drive rivets, flush rivet, friction-lock rivet etc. Each kind has a different use and function but on the whole, all of them are used as fasteners. It is an interesting fact that famous metal framed buildings and structures such as the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Eiffel tower etc. were held together by riveting as the technique of welding and bolting of joints was not introduced back then. Aircrafts still use riveting as it requires light weight but high strength fastening.

Riveting is also used for sheet metal alloys to avoid the deformation and modification of material properties that can occur due to welding.  Rivets were also used widely in many tanks during the Second World War. Usha Precision is a company which is a known stainless steel pins suppliers and pins & shafts manufacturer. With more than two decades of experience, Usha produces exceptional quality products which are also customizable for their valued customers.
